Soon after qualifying as an Industrial Designer in 1984 at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin, Andrew realised that his interests lay in mentoring companies realise the potential of design and set out on a career as a design management consultant. He secured a scholarship to undertake a Masters Degree in Environment Design at the University of Calgary, Canada graduating in 1989.

Andrew is an entrepreneur in the Irish design sector having successfully built his own design management and strategic brand consultancy. Today his company Bradley Brand employs 16 and specialises in working with entrepreneurs who seek to harness the potential of creativity in business to enhance the customer experience.

Throughout his career, Andrew has been an active member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and was President from 2013 to 2015. In 2017 he was a ministerial appointment to the Board of the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland. He also Chairman of Design Skillnet, a Government of Ireland initiate for enterprise led training. Design Skillnet focuses on making designers better at enterprise. In 2020, Andrew was appointed to the Board of Irish Sailing, the national agency for the promotion of water sports. Sailing fast is where he is most content!
